Privacy Policy

This website (vady.io) is a personal project that hosts various tools. It is not operated as a business, and no commercial use is intended. This privacy policy explains what data may be collected and how it is handled.

1. Information Collected

1.1 Logging in
When you log in using the Telegram widget, the following information is received from Telegram:

• Telegram ID

• Username

• First and last name

• Profile picture

This data is used solely within the website — for example, to display your avatar or name within tools if applicable.

1.2 LLM Chat Interface
When you use our chat interface, the text you enter (“chat inputs”) is sent to a machine-learning model hosted locally on our server. No part of your inputs or the model’s generated responses is written to persistent storage or shared with any external services.

1.2.1 Purpose and Use.
• Your inputs are used solely to produce real-time responses in the chat. We do not analyze, profile, or otherwise repurpose your chat content.

1.2.2 No Third-Party Sharing.
• All processing happens on our own infrastructure; your chat content never leaves our control or is exposed to third parties.

1.3 Feedback Form
When you submit feedback via https://vady.io/feedback, we collect:

• Your message text

• Submission timestamp

2. How Data is Used
Collected data is not analyzed, sold, or shared with third parties. It may appear in parts of the website during normal use (e.g., tools or profile-related features), but no external use is made of it.

3. Cookies and Technical Data
This site does not intentionally use cookies or tracking mechanisms. However:

• Django may set session cookies to maintain login state.

• The Telegram login widget and Cloudflare (used for security and CDN purposes) may place cookies or temporarily log IP addresses.

• Your IP may be logged temporarily for rate-limiting purposes.

• A dark/light mode setting and whether you viewed a disclaimer may be saved in your browser's local storage (not sent to the server).

4. Data Retention and Deletion
User data is stored in a local database and retained indefinitely. Data may be deleted without notice, especially for development resets.

All llm chat inputs and outputs exist only in server memory and are immediately discarded once your session ends, with no backups or archives.

Session data (e.g. login status) may be stored until you log out or your browser session ends.

5. Children
Some tools (like the Kanji tool) are designed to be usable by anyone, including children, but they do not require login or collect personal information.

6. Security
Basic technical measures (e.g., Django's defaults, Cloudflare protection, and rate limiting via IP) are in place. However, given the personal and experimental nature of this site, no formal security audits are conducted.

7. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated at any time. Significant changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
